Why are stainless steel PC enclosures becoming more popular? Is it that more and more food processors are waking up to the fact that a computerised production line is an ultra efficient and profitable line.

With the huge progression of computer software and the flexibility of standard computers, this allows companies to put standard computer hardware in hostile areas. One of the most hostile areas we have come across is food processing.

At the end of a shift (some companies have a 3 shift pattern, every 24 hours), they wash down the processing areas with high pressure water jets. This eradicates any bacteria that may be in the processing areas. The water is normally mixed with a mild bleach to kill any harmful bugs, whilst not effecting the product.
