After successfully completing a project for one of the UK’s major banks (before the credit crunch hit!), supplying 209 CPU enclosures to their branches throughout the UK, we have now won a project for 72 enclosures for the Disney Corporation for protecting the computers in the theme parks.

The CPU enclosures offer IP54 protection and are ideal for unauthorised access, reducing tampering and for putting CPU’s on factory floors.

I recall 1 company who had issues with staff accessing the CPU on the night shift, so they purchased some enclosures from a competitor, once they were installed the units, staff broke into the enclosures and smashed the CPU’s on 4 lines!

Bearing this in mind when we designed the enclosure, we designed it so that if you don’t have the key for the enclosure, you are not getting in to access the CPU. The unit comes complete with a 7 lever mortise lock for high security applications.
