When we got an enquiry for a UK truck manufacturer, we thought we were very privileged, however we supplied a solution that allowed them to use standard computer hardware for recording all the test details of each truck manufactured, ensuring a 100% traceability record, down to the actual operator who carried out the tests.

The Industrial PC enclosure accommodated a standard PC, with a touch screen display and the lower section was used to store printer paper and a standard ink jet printer.

2 months later, we get an enquiry from a US truck manufacturer, this was the Parent company of the UK manufacturer, they wanted the identical solution and this was rolled out to 4 manufacturing facilities in America for a total of 430 Industrial workstations.

We get many manufacturers contacting us for advice of protective PC enclosures, especially when they are implementing a roll out on the factory shop floor. Lots of manufacturers need to put standard computers onto the shop floor as this is the most cost effective way to monitor production.

The advantages are:

  • Relatively cheap to implement
  • If hardware needs replacing, this can swapped with an office PC

Dis-advantages are:

  • Standard computers don’t like dust and fluid
  • Need protection!

Now with being a manufacture Computer Security & Solutions provide a real return on investment. Our solutions are both affordable and flexible.

We developed a new protective enclosure for TFT monitors and found that within 3 days of launching it we had an order worth an estimated $80,000 over 18 months for the US military.

Our Industrial TFT enclosure protects any standard TFT display from dust and fluid and from human abuse. The enclosures are either wall mountable or stand mounted and will accommodate a TFT display up to 21″. If you need to put standard displays in public areas or hostile environments, this is the solution for you. The enclosures are IP65 (NEMA 4).
